Legal · proposed text
End-user license agreement
This is unfinished proposed text, not a reviewed legal policy. Seller address, applicable law, final license scope, consumer remedies and tax registrations remain to be confirmed before launch.
Proposed license grant
A $50 one-time purchase grants a personal, perpetual standard license for FrankenPiano. The allowed number of computers, transfer rules, future major-version upgrades and final usage scope require owner/legal confirmation. Do not distribute your license: it includes your name and email.
Your creative work
You own your recordings and audio output. Using the instrument to create and release music does not grant the seller ownership of that music.
Verification and revocation
The instrument verifies the signed license locally, offline. Refunds and payment disputes revoke licenses. Signed revocation updates are available through the opt-in update check and future plugin releases.
Restrictions and mandatory exceptions
The proposed terms prohibit unauthorized redistribution of the software or license and reverse engineering, subject to mandatory rights including applicable EU interoperability exceptions. Final restrictions need legal review.
Warranty, liability and law
Proposed warranty disclaimers, liability limitations, remedies and governing law have not been finalized. Nothing in this draft removes mandatory consumer rights. Final language must be approved before sales begin.
Seller and contact
The proposed seller of record is Jeffrey Emanuel, selling directly through Stripe and PayPal. Business/postal address and jurisdiction: pending owner confirmation. Contact: support@frankenpiano.com.
